Beagle
The Beagle, although a pack hound bred for hunting by scent, the breed has become very adaptable to the modern home. A super breed for an active family with a naughty streak.
Being a hunting hound the Beagle is determined and strong willed, so a well fenced garden is essential to get plenty of exercise and no escapees. A beautiful short coat mean they are usually easy to keep clean.
Very happy to wolf-down food and can quickly put weight on if you aren’t careful with exercise and overfeeding.
