Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen
An unexaggerated, short-legged, compact French scenthound with an active build commonly known as the PBGV.
Capable of a day’s hunting where he should carry his white tipped tail proudly so he is easily located in the field.
A cheeky temperament, happy and outgoing with the expected independence of a Hound but very willing to please.
The breed has a coat which is rough with an undercoat, easily groomed if it is given regular attention.
Height: 33-38 cms / 13-15 inches
Colour: White with any combination of lemon, orange tricolour or grizzle markings
